Space

With clean lines and floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors throughout, this modern, air-conditioned, 3-level villa in the trees features a living room furnished with retro/modern pieces, a dining/kitchen area that seats 10, and additional seating for 8 more on the patio—all overlooking the stunning infinity-edge swimming pool which wraps around the house. Chaise lounges and seating areas complete the terrace. The fully equipped kitchen includes a large refrigerator/freezer and icemaker, dishwasher, 6-burner stove/oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker.

The king-size Master Suite is located on the third level for the best view and most privacy. A Japanese soaking tub awaits you in the master bath. The remaining 5 bedrooms are all furnished with queen-size beds, and 2 of them also include full-size sleeper sofas—perfect for families. Of course, all of the villa’s bedrooms have luxurious en-suite bathrooms. The home has air conditioning throughout it and also uses a solar water heating system.  You also have ceiling fans for some ventilation. There are flat-screen Smart TVs throughout, as well as native Costa Rican artwork. Outdoor accent and pool lighting make for a wondrous night-forest setting. The main level of the villa is wheelchair-accessible, with extra-wide doorways and a lipless shower.

The Setting

In addition to the terrace, the villa boasts many balconies from which to view the Pacific Ocean, Cathedral Point, the National Park, and all the rainforest splendor that surrounds you. From your hillside perch, you will enjoy delicious breezes, listen to the ocean waves breaking on the nearby beaches, and marvel at the indigenous wildlife, which abounds: toucans, scarlet macaws, monkeys, sloths, and butterflies.
