DO-02/Casa Resol is a stunning new 4-bedroom villa located in the upscale hilltop village of Escaleras, about 15 minutes to both the beach towns of Uvita and Dominical. This spacious villa is an oasis in the jungle, emanating peace and quiet while offering refined luxury and comfort. The house was designed with a true appreciation for the spectacular scenery of the area- every room of the house offers expansive views of both the ocean and the lush jungle covering the surrounding hills. Ceiling to floor glass doors slide open onto balconies allowing for up close and personal interactions with a sloth or monkey swinging outside your bedroom window, or a toucan landing on a nearby branch. “Resol” means the reflection of the sun off of a surface in Spanish, and this house offers one of the best sunset views in the area, reflecting off of the ocean and infinity pool.
This home is fully air conditioned and has a two-story open floor plan with large common areas allowing guests to spread out and relax. Local artwork is displayed throughout the villa, including hand-carved murals. All four bedrooms boast ocean views, balconies, and en suite bathrooms. The master bathroom features a king size bed and a large en suite bathroom with a beautiful stone tub imported from Bali. The second upstairs bedroom is ideal for kids with two twin beds (which can be combined to suit guests’ needs), an elevated sleeping loft, and an en suite bathroom looking directly out into the forest. The ground floor bedrooms both have king beds and boast both indoor and outdoor showers set in the colorful tropical garden. An office space and extra half bath are set off of the upstairs balcony seating area. On the ground floor, the spacious kitchen opens up onto a covered outdoor dining area with another half bath, looking out over the infinity pool.
This blissful villa is proudly eco-friendly – powered by solar electricity, maintained with organic cleaning products, and encouraging guests to pamper themselves with local organic bath products.
