CNN iReporters sent in thousands of stunning photographs from their vacations in Costa Rica. Twenty five photographs were selected depicting Costa Rica’s
most notable wildlife and eco-attractions including Playa Manuel Antonio and Manuel Antonio National Park, Playa Tamarindo, Arenal Volcano, Tabacon Hot Springs, verdant coffee plantations in Tarrazu, Manantial de Agua Viva Waterfall close to the National Park of Braulio Carillo, amongst others vibrant pictures of Costa Rica.
Many photographers included brief descriptions of the places they had visited in Costa Rica. Photographer David Hutz, who submitted his perfect paradise image of Playa Manuel Antonio, explained, “The beach is very nice and there are tons of monkeys and sloths in the rainforest just inland. Another must-see!”
Eva Kriz, a beginner surfer, sent in her photograph of a wave rider in Playa Jaco. “For a beginner surfer Jaco is fantastic. The smaller waves are perfect for learning. There are several surf schools where you can go to get surf lessons. Playa Hermosa is where the professional surfers go.”
Heather Davis explained, “Costa Rica was an amazing combination of gorgeous scenery, up-close views of spectacular wildlife and genuinely friendly local people.”
