Costa Rica’s rivers provide some of the most wild and scenic rides you will find. The Naranjo and Savegre rivers have been carved out between the mountains around Manuel Antonio and offer spectacular rafting opportunities. Two options are available to satisfy the advanced rafter or the less experienced.

Naranjo River Rafting

Half day challenge of Class III and IV Rapids

This refreshing and exciting half day tour is designed for more experienced rafters. You will be picked up at your villa and driven into the scenic hills around Manuel Antonio. The Naranjo river begins in a canyon cut through these mountains and down through a stunning jungle gorge. The crystal clear waters meet the jungle riverbanks with stunning effect.

Given the variety of conditions possible on this river depending on rainfall, rafters should be prepared for a more physically demanding trip and high adrenaline levels. Your trained bilingual guides go out of their way to make this an extra-special whitewater adventure.

Savegre River Rafting

Full day rafting adventure with Class II, III and IV Rapids

For the adventurous beginner, we offer a full day of explosive whitewater rafting along the unsurpassed beauty of the River Savegre. The impressive canyons, luxuriant vegetation and rainforest form the backdrop for this exciting day.
This wild ride through the mountains passes through pristine areas of land as well as farms and African palm plantations. Water birds, sea otters and a large variety of wildlife make their homes along these riverbanks.

Safety instruction is provided on all tours along with guidance on rafting techniques. Along with providing excellent rafting assistance, the guides are very knowledgeable about the geography, history and wildlife of the area.
