A favorite among tourists and locals, everyone loves to eat here Sunday nights. Just 100 meters north of Hotel Pasatiempo you can enjoy their delicious wood‐fired thin‐crust pizzas.
There is also a nice selection of salads, wines, desserts, and you must try their famous gelatos. The only thing better than the food is the prices.

Surf Shack Burgers & Wings
Frequently praised as “the best burger in town,” the Surf Shack has generated a lot of local loyalty from American food lovers. It’s a great place for families and with 4 televisions it’s also a great place to watch the game. Located in the Tamarindo Rotunda.
Bamboo Sushi Club
Matty’s Delicafe Reviews all agree, don’t miss out on the fresh, homemade organic sandwiches. The Baller meatball sub is getting a lot of attention, but there are many delicious vegetarian dishes available as well.

FT’s Tamarindo Restaurant
Hungry diners on a budget will be satisfied with the large portions and small prices at FT’s.
From Breakfast to Dinner, they offer a mixture of American, Mexican and Costa Rican dishes. Guests can also enjoy a game of pool, foosball, and darts. Live music is featured some nights and there is always a game to watch on each of their 3 TVs. Located 100 meters from the beach across from Witch’s Rock Surf Camp.

Dragonfly Bar & Grill
Serving up traditional Costa Rican food with an international twist, Dragonfly will delight you with the variety of dishes they offer. Guests can expect locally caught fish, quality meats and fresh produce.
Directions: From the Diria hotel, continue into the center and take your first left up the paved road. When you reach the fork in the road, next to the tall white building (Pacific Park), bear left up the hill. Very quickly you will come the first left with a sign for Dragonfly on the corner. Go up this road past the first rancho, around the bend and it is located on the right before the mini golf.

Nogui’s Restaurant
On the south side of Tamarindo Circle, you’ll find Nogui’s directly on the beach.
They serve local Costa Rican cuisine from 6 am to 10 pm every day. For dinner, choose a table in the sand and watch the sunset from one of the best locations in Tamarindo (bug spray provided if you forget yours). If you have a sweet tooth you must try the pies: coconut cream, banana cream, pineapple cream and more. Located at 155 Tamarindo.

If you don’t mind venturing south of Tamarindo you will be rewarded with Lola’s fresh seafood entrees. It can be found right on Avellanas each, arguably one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica, just a short drive from Costa Rica/Tamarindo town center.
