Quepos is world-famous for Snook, Sailfish, Blue Marlin, Black Marlin and occasionally the elusive Striped Marlin.  Some of the species living in these Pacific waters are Yellowfin Tuna, Dorado (Mahi Mahi), Jacks, Wahoo and Snapper, among others. Although the catch varies seasonally, the fishing is excellent year-round.

Our fishing charters sail from the small fishing village of Quepos, which is located near Manuel Antonio on the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, just minutes from the famous Manuel Antonio National Park which boasts secluded white sand beaches combined with jungle wildlife.  

Combined with the many other hotels, restaurants, casinos, rainforest tours, beaches and some of the world's most beautiful vistas, Quepos and Manuel Antonio offers some of the best deep sea, inshore and sportfishing fishing around.

Quepos also annually hosts the Pate Invitational Fly Fishing Tournament and the Club Amateur de Pesca International Tournament.
 

Our Sportfishing, Inland and Fly Fishing Charters & Packages

Half Day Inshore and fly fishing available
3/4 Day and Full Day trips available for Deep Sea, Inshore and Fly Fishing.

All trips include transportation, snacks, fruits and drinks, bait, tackle, the best equipment available, and experienced bilingual captains.  Some excursions also include a hot meal.

Sailfish
Sailfish are most abundant November through April, but they can be found here year round.  You may be able to get 10 to 20 bites during the most active period.  Fly fisherman may even catch a sailfish on the fly!

Marlin
The rare striped Marlin is found occasionally, but the Blue and Black marlin are abundant all year around.
