According to legend, Costa Rica may really be the coast of riches. Although the Isla del Coco Costa Rica is located in the Pacific Ocean many historians believe pirates would have gone to great lengths to protect their treasure having to travel a considerable distance around the tip of South America and around Cape Horn to get to their final destination.  The pirate’s adventure would not take weeks or months, but years.
