The Minister of Tourism, Allan Flores, said that this announcement comes after the success of the Costa Rican tourism exhibition that took place in Berlin in March. “ We are enthusiastically celebrating this new connection with Europe, one of the most important target markets for the country, which will allow us to  strengthen links with this destination, open new markets and  promote our country’s tourist activity,”  explained Flores.

Furthermore, figures released by the Costa Rica Tourism Institute (I.C.T) reveal that more Germans enjoy Costa Rica vacations than the Spanish.
